1 seriously hurt, 4 lightly injured in 4-car crash near Afula

One person was seriously hurt and four others sustained minor injuries on Thursday during a traffic accident on Highway 60, near Afula. Police said that the accident involved four cars, and may have been the result of tailgating. Some of the wounded were evacuated to Emek Afula Hospital. Heavy traffic was reported in the area, and drivers were encouraged to temporarily travel on alternate routes.
