10-year-old boy seriously injured as mortar shell dud explodes in Negev

A 10-year-old boy was seriously injured Friday as a mortar shell dud exploded near the Negev town of Shivta.
The boy was taken by his family to Shivta Junction and he was then evacuated by helicopter to Soroka Hospital in Beersheba.
