2 missiles fired from Gaza land near Ashkelon; none wounded

Two missiles were fired at Israel from the Gaza Strip late Monday, Israel Radio reported.
One of the missiles exploded south of Ashkelon, causing no damage or casualties. The second missile is believed to have landed in Palestinian territory.
Meanwhile, several mortar shells fired from the Gaza Strip landed in open territories in the western Negev. No one was wounded and no damage was reported.
