2-year-old Beduin boy in serious condition after camel bites his face

A two-year-old Beduin toddler was in serious condition on Monday after he was bitten in the face by a female camel. According to reports, the toddler was wounded around his left eye, and was not entirely responsive by the time Magen David Adom paramedics arrived on the scene. The paramedics then evacuated the boy to Soroka Hospital in Beersheba. Despite being admitted into the trauma center of the hospital, doctors said that the wounds he received were not life threatening. The father of the boy told paramedics that his son apparently had been playing with the camel, and also tried to play with the camel's young baby. It was at that point that he was attacked.
