2-year-old boy killed by garbage truck in Bnei Brak

Police say toddler was being pushed in his stroller by his sister but was not strapped in.

A two-year-old boy was killed Monday when he was hit by a garbage truck as he crossed the street with his mother and seven-year-old sister in Bnei Brak. Police said that the toddler was being pushed in his stroller by his sister but was not strapped in. The truck driver hit the stroller and the toddler was flung onto the road. He was evacuated to Tel Hashomer's Sheba Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries. Police detained the truck driver for questioning.
