The attack against IDF troops operating along the border with Gaza is a "severe attack" Defense Minister Ehud Barak said on Tuesday, promising an Israeli response. He would not say what the nature or extent of the response to the attack would be. Barak told reservists that despite the "massive hit" suffered by Hamas during Operation Cast Lead, there was still a constant threat of attacks along the border with Gaza, "or even an incident that we will have to respond to."
