Right wing extremist Baruch Marzel was arrested Monday while marching towards the former West Bank settlement of Homesh. Police reported that Marzel was arrested because he did not show for an investigation and not because of any incident on the march. Thousands of people gathered and began marching towards Homesh on Monday afternoon in order to light Hanukkah candles, after evading roadblocks set up by the IDF and police, who declared the area a closed military zone.
