Bill calling on PMs under probe to quit passes preliminary reading

The Knesset approved in a preliminary reading on Wednesday a bill submitted by Labor MK Ophir Paz-Pines, calling on any prime minister to resign if they are under a criminal investigation.
Paz-Pines's bill comes at a particularly inconvenient time for Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, who is currently undergoing five different investigations.
