Customs Authority thwarts attempt to smuggle arms to Israel from Jordan

Customs Authority agents thwarted on Wednesday an attempt to smuggle weapons from Jordan into Israel after they uncovered a cache which contained 24 pistols, 6 M-16s, and 23 cartridges. According to reports, the arms were hidden in baking supplies which were making their way to Israel. The case was transferred to the Shin Bet for further investigation.
