A man shot his girlfriend to death and then killed himself at a shopping center in Dimona on Sunday evening, police said. The man, who was from Arad, used a pistol he received from his job as a security guard in the Dead Sea area to carry out the shootings, although police were uncertain about the background. The couple, who were in their forties, had been going out for a few months and were not known to the police. The woman was from Dimona and worked in a hotel, also by the Dead Sea. Police had yet to release the names of the couple.
