Ephraim Halevy, head of the Mossad from 2000 until 2002, will appear on Tuesday before the Winograd Committee charged with investigating the conduct of the war in the North. The committee will continue hearing testimony on after a week of internal deliberations. Halevy will appear before the committee at 9:00 a.m., while at 11:30 a.m., Maj.-Gen. (res.) Yisrael Ziv will deliver his testimony. Ziv served as the IDF's OC Operations in 2004 and 2005. Both testimonies will be heard in closed-door sessions due to the sensitive nature of the information to be discussed.
