Haredim riot in Me'a She'arim

Dozens of haredim pelted police and passing vehicles with stones and tried to attack two Arab drivers in Jerusalem's Me'a She'arim neighborhood, late Wednesday night, police said. One police officer was lightly injured in the head by a stone and a police vehicle was also damaged in the disturbances at the main intersection in the neighborhood, Shabbat Square. Twenty-one haredim, including eight minors, were arrested on the scene. Police dispersed the rioters, and the area was closed off to traffic.
