Hiker found alive and well in Judea desert after hours of searches

A Modi'in hiker was found alive and well in the Judea desert Thursday after hours of searches. Uriya Oren left his house for a hike near Ein Gedi on Wednesday evening. When his family tried to contact him, they discovered that he had left his cellphone at home, and began to worry. Family members alerted rescue forces who began searching for the 24-year-old in the early morning hours. He was found safe and sound several hours later.
