IDF: 1000 targets hit since beginning of Operation Cast Lead

The IDF has hit some 1000 targets since the beginning of Operation Cast Lead 12 days ago, Israel Radio reported Wednesday morning.
IAF strikes targeting Hamas in the Gaza Strip continued overnight Tuesday.
Meanwhile, educational institutions in Israel within a 40km radius of Gaza remained closed on Wednesday.
