IDF on high alert after Hamas calls for protest march to Sufa crossing

The IDF declared a high state of alert at Sufa border crossing on Friday afternoon amid concerns that Gazans would answer Hamas' calls for a protest march to the terminal after Friday prayers.
The soldiers were equipped with crowd dispersal gear and the IDF issued a directive to troops to prevent Palestinian penetration of the terminal at any cost, even that of using live ammunition.
