IDF soldier who said he was kidnapped faces trial

Zevulun Police opened an investigation Wednesday again an IDF soldier who sent an SMS to his father claiming that he had been kidnapped who but was later found in his car. The soldier, a resident of the center of the country, was considered to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time that the message was sent. According to police involved in the investigation, the growing assumption is that the act was meant as a prank. Details of the police investigation have been sent to the Army, and legal proceedings against the soldier have begun.
