Jerusalem's central Mahane Yehuda Market will be the scene of a colorful cultural event Thursday as Israel marks the Jewish Arbor Day, the city said.
The three-hour long Tu Be'Shevat celebrations will kick off at noon in the open-air market, and will be open to the public free of charge.
Tu B'Shevat, the 15th day of the Jewish month of Shevat, is also known as the New Year for Trees.
