A Kassam rocket fired by Palestinian terrorists in the Gaza Strip landed in an open area in the Eshkol region on Wednesday evening. No one was wounded and no damage was reported. It was the first Kassam attack since the end of last month, when two rockets slammed into the western Negev, causing neither casualties nor damage. Also Wednesday, Egyptian police discovered 900 kilograms of TNT hidden in 18 sacks near the border with Gaza. In addition, Egyptian authorities arrested three young Palestinians on suspicion of infiltrating into the country.
