The blast on a Gaza beach 10 days ago that killed seven Palestinian civilians was definitely not caused by IDF shelling, Maj.-Gen. Meir Klifi, head of the IDF inquiry commission said at a news conference on Wednesday. Klifi said that the commission would continue to investigate what caused the explosion. "There is theory which says that the explosion was caused by and old shell and some believe that the blast was caused by the explosives belonging to a terrorist group. We don't yet know precisely what caused the deaths."
