Officials in Labor accused their former comrade MK Dalia Itzik (Kadima) of encouraging central Labor members, including mayors and regional activists, to defect to Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's party. Itzik responded that several central Labor members have turned to her expressing their dissatisfaction with the way their party was being led, but claimed she did not initiate those contacts, according to Israel Radio.
