Last suspect in settler shooting nabbed

IDF, Shin Bet arrest member of terror cell that killed 29-year-old Ido Zoldan near Kedumim last year.

In a joint operation on Wednesday night, the IDF and the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) arrested Hassin Kaddoumi, the final member of the terror cell involved in the shooting of Ido Zoldan last year, it was revealed on Thursday. Kaddoumi, 22, was caught in the village of Kaddum in Samaria and transferred for questioning. Zoldan, a 29-year-old was shot four times as he drove past the Palestinian village of al-Punduk, near Kedumim, in November 2007. Two other members of the terror cell that perpetrated the attack, members of the PA security forces, were arrested by the IDF following the shooting. In related news, an IDF elite unit operating in southwest Jenin overnight Wednesday arrested Ibrahim Jaber, head of Hamas in the area, Palestinian sources reported. The sources said that Jaber had been previously arrested by Palestinian Authority security forces on suspicion of trying to set up an armed militia in the area.
