Livni, Egyptian FM discuss emergency coordination

Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni spoke with her Egyptian counterpart Ahmed Aboul Gheit late Wednesday about coordination between the two countries in emergency situations. The request came after ten Israeli tourists and an Egyptian working for their tour company were killed when a tourist bus overturned in the Sinai peninsula on Tuesday. More than 30 others were believed wounded, 10 critically. During the rescue operations, MDA ambulances were prevented by Egyptian authorities from entering the Sinai Peninsula in order to help in the rescue operations.
