Livni: If Syria wants peace, it must stop funding Hamas and Hizbullah

If Syria wants a peace deal with Israel, it must stop funding Hamas and Hizbullah, Foreign Minister and Kadima leader Tzipi Livni said Tuesday.
Concerning the Gaza situation, Livni said Israel was ready to respond, but stressed that security threats mustn't be used to scare the public, Army Radio reported.
