MK Erdan: Transfer security prisoners to unfortified jail near Gaza

Likud MK Gilad Erdan proposed on Saturday that security prisoners from the Islamic Jihad and Hamas jailed in Israel be transferred to an unfortified prison near the Gaza Strip, Israel Radio reported.
Erdan speculated that such a move would prevent Palestinian terrorists from continuing to fire Kassam rockets into southern Israel.
