Man hit by car, killed whilst changing tire on Route 1 near Lod

A man was hit by a passing car and killed on Route 1 on Friday night, near the Lod junction.
An initial investigation revealed that the man had stopped his vehicle to change a tire, and was hit by a passing car that evidently did not notice him.
