After stabbing his wife at an immigrant absorption center, a Beersheba man then stabbed himself in an apparent attempted murder-suicide.
Both husband and wife were evacuated in serious condition to Soroka Hospital in the city; the woman's life was assessed to be in danger.
Army Radio reported that the couple's six children were taken by social services after the incident.
