Following the police recommendation to indict prime Minister Ehud Olmert, Meretz MK Zehava Galon said on Sunday evening that the prime minister should immediately step down.
"It is unthinkable for a corrupt prime minister who's expected to be indicted to continue to lead the country. This would seriously harm democracy, and therefore, if he doesn't suspend himself, the attorney-general should suspend him," Galon said in a press release.
