Chief Ashkenazi Rabbi Yona Metzger called on authorities to bring Islamic Movement head Sheikh Raed Salah to justice following the sermon he delivered Friday during which he asked followers to "end the occupation."
His speech, said Metzger was filled with lies, illusions and anti-Semitism.
Salah had told fellow Muslims that Israel had Palestinian blood "in their food and in their drinks."
