Most seriously wounded soldier from Second Lebanon War released from hospital

The most seriously wounded soldier from the Second Lebanon War was released from Tel Hashomer Medical Center on Monday. Dror Kendelstein, an Engineering Corps reservist, suffered multiple shrapnel and gunshot wounds in a battle on the outskirts of Bint Jbail. He was in a coma for seven months, and hospitalized for a total of two years and eight months. Kendelstein left Tel Hashomer in a wheelchair since his motion is still restricted, but still has a chance of regaining full movement in his limbs.
