Deputy Interior Minister Ruhama Avraham on Monday assigned NIS 15 million for Gaza's surrounding communities, which absorbed the Gush Katif evacuees.
Avraham said that the funds would be transferred to the local councils of the communities, which bore the brunt of the Gaza disengagement, "due to the present security situation and the social challenges they now face."
