A Palestinian tried to strangle an IDF soldier at a checkpoint near Nablus Thursday morning.
According to reports, the Palestinian attacked the soldier in attempt to steal his gun.
Another soldier fired in the air and stopped the attack. The perpetrator was quickly arrested by IDF troops and detained for interrogation.
