Neviot says it is resuming mineral water production
By JPOST.COM STAFF
Neviot, Israel's leading mineral water producer, said Sunday it was resuming production after a week-long suspension.
The company had halted the filling of bottles last Monday after tests conducted at its Ein Zahav wellspring showed a rise in the impurity levels of the water.
Neviot said recent tests had shown that the water was now safe for consumption.
Mey Eden, a second producer of mineral water, had also halted production at the time due to fear of contaminants, and has yet to announce renewal of factory activity.
