Officials confirm progress has been made in Hamas truce talks

Officials in Jerusalem confirmed that progress has been made in the negotiations toward a truce with Hamas, Army Radio reported on Saturday morning.
However, the officials did no make any comments on the Turkish media report Friday that a deal to free kidnapped IDF soldier Cpl. Gilad Schalit could be reached by Tuesday,
Israel has previously linked the full opening of the Gaza Strip crossings to the release of Schalit.
