Olmert: As long as I am PM, I will work for a peace deal

As long as Prime Minister Ehud Olmert is leading the country, he will actively continue working for peace with the Palestinians, the premier vowed on Wednesday.
"I don't know how much longer I will be prime minister, but as long as I'm in this position, I will act for peace that will enable us to make Israel stronger, more peaceful, and healthier," Olmert said.
"The horizon of the Negev is the next test of Israel. Israel has no other future but in the South," he added.
