Olmert's wife hopes convergence plan is executed

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's wife, Aliza Olmert, said on Monday morning that she hoped the convergence plan would be executed. The prime minister's wife said that the visit to Washington was of great political significance, and that she intended to use the trip to promote her own agenda. She made the statement in an interview with Israeli journalists when she accompanied her husband on his first official visit to Washington, Army Radio reported.
