Palestinian sources reported Saturday morning that IDF soldiers shot and killed one 16-year-old Palestinian youth and wounded two others who were trying to illegally enter Israel from Gaza on Friday night. Two other Palestinians were reported wounded in the incident, which occurred along the south Gaza security fence. The IDF confirmed that a patrol had shot at three Palestinians who were trying to infiltrate through the fence. Earlier that day, along the same fence near Kerem Shalom, shots were fired at an IDF patrol. Three other infiltrators were arrested by security forces Friday along the security fence near northern Gaza. The three were all unarmed.
