PM ups pressure on Labor, Israel Beiteinu, Shas to back budget

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu stepped up the pressure on Labor, Israel Beiteinu and Shas to accept the budget during Sunday's cabinet meeting. The prime minister told the parties' respective heads Ehud Barak, Avigdor Lieberman and Eli Yishai that if the budget is not approved in its first reading, he would take it off the table and start the whole process again from scratch.
