Palestinian arrested in Hadera on suspicion of stealing multiple vehicles

Police arrested a Palestinian man in Hadera on Monday, after he was caught stealing a car. Police stated that the 20-year-old, who was in Israel illegally, admitted during his interrogation that he was involved in stealing at least 10 motor vehicles.
According to the suspect, he slept overnight in orchards in Hadera throughout the last year and a half in order to transfer stolen vehicles to the Palestinian Territories.
Police will request extension of his remand at the Hadera Magistrate's Court on Monday.
