Palestinians say man seriously wounded by IDF fire near Nablus

Medics said a Palestinian was seriously wounded by IDF fire during a clash in a West Bank refugee camp on Saturday morning. IDF troops entered the Palestinian Fara refugee camp near Nablus early Saturday. The Palestinians said young men hurled rocks and firebombs at the forces, who responded with live fire. An IDF spokesman said the Palestinians shot at the soldiers, who fired back, hitting the young man. According to the reports, Thabet Raja, 23, was shot in the chest. A medic, Adnan Ghawanmeh, said Raja is in serious condition in a local hospital.
