Palestinians threw an explosive device at IDF soldiers near Rachel's Tomb Wednesday afternoon.
No one was wounded and no damage was caused, Israel Radio reported.
IDF forces were conducting raids in the area.
Rachel's Tomb is located between Bethlehem and Jerusalem.
