Pedestrian killed when hit by a car on Highway 2, near Zichron Yaakov

A pedestrian was killed on Wednesday after he was hit by a car while he was walking on the shoulder of Highway 2, near Zichron Yaakov.
Magen David Adom paramedics who arrived on the scene pronounced the man dead.
The driver of the car was taken by police for questioning.
