Pelefon gets license to test ground line services

The Communications Ministry gave the cellular phone company Pelefon a one-year license to examine the possibility for providing cellular phone services through ground lines. The company is permitted to include in its tests some 8,500 private customers. Pelefon competitor Cellcom is expected to receive a similar license in the coming days.
