Police arrest Right-wing activists at demonstration near Modi'in

Police on Tuesday evening detained Right-wing activists and dispersed a demonstration in front of the house of OC Central Command Maj.-Gen. Gadi Shamni in Reut, near Modi'in, Army Radio reported.
The police said the demonstration, which was organized in protest over expulsion orders issued to West Bank settlers, was illegal.
Following the activists' arrest, MK Aryeh Eldad (NU/NRP) told Public Security Minister Avi Dichter that "the policemen prevented the activists from getting off the bus under false pretenses. We are not a totalitarian state where the police can do as they please."
