Police ask missing 4-year-old's grandfather to give polygraph testimony

Police requested that missing 4-year-old Rose Pizem's grandfather Ronnie Ron be interrogated as to the whereabouts of his granddaughter's body while connected to a lie detector. After a week of searches in the Yarkon River yielded no results, police requested that Ron, who is suspected of murdering Rose, testify while connected to a polygraph machine. The missing girl's grandfather continues to claim he threw a suitcase containing Rose's body off the Bavli Bridge into the river three months ago. But police have grown increasingly distrustful of this account, and it appears they may abandon searches of the river. Police have also decided not to dry out a 200-meter stretch of the Yarkon River.
