Israel Police raided on Tuesday afternoon offices of the Star, MSN, and Nana Internet portals on suspicion that the companies were hosting gambling sites. A number of senior employees were detained for questioning.
The raid was conducted as part of the National Fraud Squad's ongoing war against illegal gambling and under instructions by Attorney General Menahem Mazuz to uphold anti-gambling laws, Army Radio reported.
