Tel Aviv Police said it had solved the Shlomo Kakon murder case; it was released for publication on Saturday night.
Kakon's body was discovered in the boot of his car in north Tel Aviv one month ago.
Dror Hahmon, who allegedly stabbed Kakon to death following a dispute over the sale of black-market petrol, has been charged with the crime.
Police asserted that Hahmon painted the walls of his home in order to conceal Kakon's blood stains.
