Police received a report late Tuesday afternoon that a train had collided with a truck near the Military Technical School by the Haifa Bay.
According to the initial report, the driver of the truck was very lightly injured.
Police and traffic inspectors were on their way to the scene.
There were as yet no reports on additional casualties.
