A 40-year-old Israeli man was under arrest Tuesday for allegedly repeatedly raping his 13 and 14-year-old nieces over the last couple years, police said. The suspected rapist, who works as a school security guard in the Beit Shemesh area, has confessed to raping the teens, Jerusalem police spokesman Shmuel Ben-Ruby said. The man raped the girls after telling them that their parents did not love them, and that he will look after their every need, the police said. He was apprehended Tuesday morning in the wake of a complaint lodged by social workers. The suspect, who cannot be named by court order, was remanded in custody for four days Tuesday by the Jerusalem Magistrate's Court. Police are investigating whether the man raped or otherwise sexually molested girls at the school where he worked.
