Sderot residents pitched a protest tent at Tel Aviv's Rabin Square on Thursday, in a bid to raise awareness for their suffering under the Palestinian shelling. The residents were accompanied by ten mayors and local council chairmen from the South. Speaking at the protest, Sderot mayor Ellie Moyal said it was inconceivable that a town should be shelled for over seven years. Eyewitnesses said that many Tel Aviv residents arrived at the tent to express their solidarity, some saying that "the missiles will soon be hitting Tel Aviv unless a solution is brought forward."
