Search for Rose Pizem halted for fear of poisoning in Yarkon River

Searches for 4-year-old Rose Pizem, missing and assumed dead at the hands of her grandfather Ronnie Ron, were halted Sunday because of fears that the Yarkon River - where Ron confessed to disposing of her body and where police scuba divers have been focusing most of their search - is polluted to a point where it could harm the scuba divers, Army Radio reported.
